Tuition Policy

  1. Purpose: The purpose of this Tuition Refund Policy is to establish clear guidelines and procedures for refunding tuition fees to students who withdraw from programs or courses offered by Within U.

2. Eligibility for Refunds: Refunds are applicable to enrolled students who officially withdraw from a program or course before its scheduled completion. Students who are expelled or dismissed for disciplinary reasons are not eligible for tuition refunds.

3. Refund Calculation: The refund amount is determined based on the date of withdrawal, which is officially recorded by the Within U Registrar’s Office. The following refund schedule outlines the percentage of tuition fees that will be refunded based on the withdrawal date:

  • Withdrawal within the first week of the program/course: 100% refund
  • Withdrawal within the second week of the program/course: 75% refund
  • Withdrawal within the third week of the program/course: 50% refund
  • Withdrawal after the fourth week: No refund

4. Refund Request Procedure: Students must submit a formal request for a tuition refund to the Within U Registrar’s Office. The request must include the student’s full name, student ID number, program/course details, and the reason for withdrawal. The official withdrawal date will be the date on which this request is received by the Registrar’s Office.

5. Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 5 business days after the withdrawal request is approved. Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment (e.g., credit card refund, check, or electronic transfer).

6. Non-Refundable Fees: Certain fees, such as digital course material that has been delivered to the student, application fees, technology fees, and administrative fees, are non-refundable and will not be included in the refund calculation.

7. Exceptional Circumstances: In cases of exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or military service obligations, Within U may consider refund requests outside of the specified refund schedule. Requests for such exceptions must be made in writing and accompanied by appropriate documentation.

8. Appeals: Students who disagree with the refund decision may appeal by submitting a written appeal to the Within U Appeals Committee within 5 days of receiving the refund notification. The decision of the Appeals Committee is final.

9. Changes to Policy: Within U reserves the right to amend or update this Tuition Refund Policy. Any changes will be communicated to students through official channels and will apply to future enrollments.

By enrolling in a program or course offered by Within U, students acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of this Tuition Refund Policy.
