Minimum Qualifications

Age: 

Must be 18 years or older to participate in Adult and Dislocated Worker programs. 

Photo ID: 

Must have a valid Driver’s License or Federal or State ID. 

Citizenship/Authorization to Work: 

Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen authorized to work in the United States. 

Residency: 

Must reside in the state of Maryland.

Attendance: 

Must attend a minimum of 80% of classes to remain eligible for WIOA-funded training programs. Classes may be held in the mornings, afternoons, or evenings to accommodate different schedules. 

Agree To Provide Required Paperwork: 

All WIOA required paperwork must be provided before application can be submitted. All participants must agree to provide paperwork in-person to our office to be submitted

Income: 

Must meet the income eligibility criteria set by the program. 

High School Education or Equivalent: 

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Commitment to Seek Employment: 

Must be committed to seeking employment upon completion of the training program. 

Selective Service Registration: 

Male applicants aged 18 and older must be registered with the Selective Service System, unless exempt
